Barney Bubbles.

We went to the Chelsea Space to see Process: The Working Practices of Barney Bubbles. I particularly liked this exhibition as Barney Bubbles’s designs were heavily focused on the music industry…

The precision and accuracy in his hand made designs was amazing to see, as his graphics were created before the widespread application of computer technology.

Artwork for record sleeves and record label logos has always interested me which is why I really liked seeing Barney Bubbles’s designs for record labels and adverts for bands printed for the NME, showcasing his talent for creating a visual representation fitting of musicians’ signature sounds.

In this exhibition, you could see the processes used to arrive at the final finished piece. The attention to detail in his typography really amazed me.
